Exothermic Gas Generators

Exothermic Gas Generators

Our standard range of exothermic gas generators provide the appropriate atmospheres for a variety of treatment processes for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

The principle is for the fuel gas (methane, propane or butane) to enter the exothermic gas generator from the supply and be mixed with air in a pre-set ratio. The mixture is compressed, fed down a firing burner and then passed through a cooling coil. The cooled gas leaves the generator through a water droplet separator and metering orifice. The by-product gas composition will depend on the fuel gas used and the subsequent air/gas ratio.
